frugal living friendly natural remedies for heat rashAh, yes: the sun, the sand and that itchy burning red rash on your thighs! When things heat up in the summer time, I’m sure more than a few of us experience the odd bout of heat rash. After all, humidity and high temperatures can easily cause inflation and blocked sweat glands.

Luckily, if you learn how to prepare these simple natural remedies, that are also frugal living friendly, you can be prepared to take care of any heat rash that might come your way.

*A simple paste made with baking soda and water is a great way to cool and soothe the itch you often experience with heat rash. It’s also great for reducing redness.

*Chilled chamomile tea, which is naturally very soothing and an anti-inflammatory, can be applied to heat rash with a face cloth or added to a cool bath.

To prevent heat rash, try to stay out of the sun and as cool as you can and wear loose, cotton clothing. Pack these frugal living ingredients when you go on vacation and avoid trips to the pharmacy for over-priced powders.
